Beach Can-Am Days (March 13-22, 2026) will
celebrate 65 years of friendship with Canadian
visitors, making it the perfect reason to
escape the North’s frost and soak up sun-
shine on the Grand Strand.
All Fore Golf
The Grand Strand boasts over 90 championship
golf courses and hosts more than three mil-
lion rounds of golf every year. It’s no wonder
that Myrtle Beach is dubbed the “Golf Capital
of the World.” The popular miniature golf
scene also earns its reputation as the “Mini
Golf Capital of the World.”
From May 7-10, 2026, the ONEflight Myrtle
Beach Classic, a PGA Tour event, returns to
the stunning Dunes Golf and Beach Club, a
Robert Trent Jones-designed course framed
by towering oaks and coastal views.
For a different spin, try PopStroke, backed
by Tiger Woods, located in Broadway at the
Beach. It features two fun-filled 18-hole put-
ting courses, a clubhouse, dining and a
playground. We’re all fore this.
Take Me to The Beach
The Beach is where you belong and the Grand
Strand is at the heart of it all. From the family-
friendly beach town of Surfside Beach to the
quaint fishing village of Murrells Inlet (once
the hiding spot of the infamous pirate Black-
beard), Myrtle Beach is made up of 14 unique
communities spanning roughly 100 km.
Whether you settle into a beach chair with
sweet tea and watch the waves, or take a
leisurely stroll along the shore, this unique
destination is the place to slow down and
reconnect.
Lights, Camera, Attractions
Myrtle Beach’s oceanfront Boardwalk and
Promenade offer hundreds of attractions. Live
music, thrilling rides, arcades, shops and
restaurants—this seaside stretch has some-
thing for everyone. The colossal 57-metre
SkyWheel boasts sensational views from cli-
mate-controlled gondolas. Back on the
ground, Legends in Concert and the Holly-
wood Wax Museum are fan-favourites while
Broadway at the Beach offers family-friendly
fun. Get up close and personal with aquatic
friends at Ripley’s Aquarium. Go upside down
and nerd out at the interactive science
museum WonderWorks, a massive amuse-
ment park for the mind. Family Kingdom
boasts a historic wooden roller coaster, one of
the few remaining on the east coast. For a
slower pace, head to Brookgreen Gardens, a
National Historic Landmark and sculpture
garden, or cross the road to Huntington Beach
State Park for wildlife encounters.

Culinary Carolina
With more than 2,000 restaurants from
chef-driven, locally owned gems to global
cuisine and national chains, no one (and we
mean no one) leaves The Beach hungry. Local
Tip: Don’t miss Sea Captain’s House. Built in
the 1930s, this oceanfront mainstay is famous
for its rich crabmeat and roe she-crab soup.
(The she is often thought to refer to the sherry
added!) Murrells Inlet is deemed the “Seafood
Capital of South Carolina,” while regulars pile
in at Wicked Tuna for their “hook-to-plate”
fresh fish philosophy. It’s an ideal place to
dine after strolling along the popular
MarshWalk.
