CANADIAN VISITORS SAVE
DURING CAN-AM DAYS
Myrtle Beach is a destination where Canadians
are not just welcomed, they’re expected, appre-
ciated and embraced. That friendship is
celebrated every March during Can-Am Days
that extends throughout the year in the form of
deep discounts for Canadians on accommoda-
tions, attractions, shopping and more.

along the shore, strolling shaded trails, and watching
migratory birds or local wildlife such as alligators
and occasionally endangered loggerhead sea turtles.
For a more refined experience, Brookgreen Gardens,
about 20 minutes away, invites a stroll beneath
moss-draped live oaks in a tranquil setting. Spread
across roughly 3,600 hectares, the gardens combine
botanical art, wildlife preserves, and one of the most
significant collections of outdoor sculpture in the
United States.
Time for Fun
For vibrant energy, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
stretches nearly two kilometres along the oceanfront,
offering live music, arcades, amusement park rides,
piers, shops, and restaurants, including several new
spots this year. Towering above the scene, the Sky-
Wheel offers panoramic views from climate-controlled
gondolas as the skyline lights up with dazzling, ever-
changing colours.
Broadway at the Beach, a sprawling entertainment
complex, draws millions annually to specialty shops,
exceptional restaurants, shows, and attractions such
as Ripley’s Aquarium.
As evening falls, a beachside café offers respite,
where Carolina beach music strums through the air
and sweet tea accompanies the sinking sun behind
the pier. The following day may bring a round of
quirky mini-golf, treasure hunting at a local seafood
market, or a scenic drive along the coast.
For now, Myrtle Beach’s rhythm simply washes
over the senses.

DID YOU KNOW?
North Myrtle Beach is the birthplace of The
Carolina Shag, the state’s official dance. This
laid-back swing dance is usually done to
Carolina beach music, a regional style of R&B.
What the tango is to Buenos Aires, the Carolina
Shag is to Myrtle Beach!
