For millennia, the Indigenous people of Nunavik have mastered the techniques for living off the land, even during the long Arctic winter. Today, tour operator Inuit Adventures offers immersive experiences where you can learn these same skills, imparting a rich understanding of Inuit culture and the landscape upon which it was forged.
During the longer and milder days of March and April, their classic tour begins in Kuujjuaq—Nunavik’s main hub. Become acquainted with this unique community as you peruse artisan shops and meet locals. The following day, your adventure accelerates with a guided dogsled ride into the Ungava Bay region.
